PBS Voices performed at the Kids Sing Gala Concert and did an amazing job. Well done everyone. We had a number of positive comments on the night, a lovely phone call from Kristen Junior School and the email below.

Today the Choir did a fantastic performance at Kids Sing at the Town Hall. They looked and sounded really good on the massive stage. Their harmonies sounded amazing in Imagine If and we had a lot of positive comments.

Yesterday the PBS Voices had their dress rehearsal for the Kids Sing performance and Gala Concert. There are a couple of things for us to work on but we are very excited about performing at the Auckland Town Hall.

Everyone

On Friday we sang for the first time as a school Kia Orāna. It went well with the two different parts. We will practise some more and do it again next week. We learnt Kia Orāna for Cook Island Language week.

Seniors

The Seniors are learning to play the recorder. As a class they have learnt G and E and can play a variety of songs. This is "Hunting Brave" and they have added in a pedal note and borduns to accompany their recorder playing. Individually they have started working on their white belt for recorder karate.

Everyone

On the weekend I went on this amazing course with some great teachers. I learnt heaps of traditional dances from around the world so I can't wait to teach some of them to the dance group. I also learnt some cool rhythm games and used the recorder to create sound stories.

The Ukulele Group are working hard to learn Si'i Lolo for Tongan language week and are practising all the new songs for the Kiwileles Festival.
