Last week of Music!
With great sadness next week will be the last week of music for myself and Panmure Bridge School. As the roll has dropped I will no longer be employed. I will miss you all. I hope that you continue to learn and play music in some way. I wish you all the very best of luck and I hope I will find another school where I can teach and inspire music.
Remember...
And...
Celebrate!
Room 1 and the year 7's learnt to play the song "Celebrate!" today. Room 1 played the song on the xylophones and the year 7's played it on the recorder. Have a listen to part of the song with the year 7's.

Sensai Karate
Well done Harry and AJ. AJ got his Black and White Sensai belt today (Level 1, Sensai Karate) and Harry graded with his Blue and White Sensai belt (Level 2, Sensai Karate). To grade these boys had to work on duets learning different parts that are played at the same time. You really have to concentrate and stay focused! An awesome effort boys!

Kids for Kids Choir Festival
Yesterday the Choir went down to the Vodafone Events Centre for the Kids for Kids Festival. In the morning we had rehearsal where we practised with 23 other schools. Jorja and Nyjah auditioned for a soloist part but unfortunately weren't successful. All those who auditioned but didn't get a part got to be part of "Team Red" for the finale song.

Commuting
Room 5 had a catch up dance session yesterday. They created a dance sequence in groups for an airport job and then performed it in canon. They also chose their favourtite air transport to move like.
