"Yodelling"

This term the choir has been exploring the idea of part singing as well as rehearsing for the Kids for Kids festival. Here is them singing a song called "Yodelling". They start of together then break into the different parts.

Library Performance for Music Week

The choir were lucky enough to be invited to sing at the Panmure Library to help them celebrate New Zealand Music Month. The choir sang the 2013 Music Month song "Paradise" by Waimarie Smith and "Something Good" by Bic Runga. Jorja was our soloist again for this song and partnered up with Riley (her first solo number). All the choir did an amazing job and I'm very proud of them. Thanks Zane my Music Man. Thanks to Mrs Burke, Miss Gina and Miss Caroline who helped to get the choir down to the library.

Singing Squad

The Singing Squad has worked really hard this term. Their favourite songs are "Happy" and "Chocolate".

Free Ukuleles

PBS have been so lucky again. We received 10 beautiful ukuleles from Deloites. The Strummers helped to unpack them today. Thanks Deloites

Chocolate

Thanks Diana and Holly who made fantastic leaders while we sung one of our favourite songs today "Chocolate". We sang this in two parts. Next week we will sing part 3.
